Advanced Nudity Progression (looking for feedback) - Doc added

I’ve been considering creating a companion mod to Advanced Nudity Detection (AND) that factors in both the nudity state and modesty rank (modes -> Shameless). The idea is to provide buffs and debuffs based on the player’s current state. For example, a modes player who is naked will receive heavy debuffs, while a shameless player who is naked will gain competitive buffs. Conversely, if a shameless player is completely covered, they may become uncomfortable and receive debuffs.

I’ve spent a few hours thinking about what effects make sense thematically while keeping the game balanced, encouraging players to pay attention to their outfits and match them to their current modesty rank. The mod should provide an incentive for players to rank up and consider playing naked, but without making it OP, so that wearing armor and enchantments remains advantageous.

Early Draft

This is an extremely early and rough draft with no specific numbers yet; it’s just a general direction I’ve been exploring.

Nudity States by Zone

  • Boobs: Covered -> Showing Bra -> Showing Boobs
  • Pussy: Covered -> Showing Panties -> Showing Pussy
  • Ass: Covered -> Showing Ass

AND also provides the following overall states: - Topless (Implies showing boobs) - Bottomless (Implies showing pussy and ass) - Naked (Implies both topless and bottomless)

Gameplay Mechanics by Zone/State

Boobs
  • Control Magic:
    • Exposure is very obvious, so a modest player may lose concentration quickly if not accustomed to having her boobs exposed. An experienced (Shameless) player has mastered the concentration required and embraces their nakedness as a focal point providing a buff
    • Gameplay Effects:
      • Affects Magicka regeneration (possibly even drain in extreme cases)
      • Fortify/Damage all schools of magic
Ass
  • Affects Sneak and Mobility:
    • A modest player, with an exposed ass, moves slowly to avoid drawing attention. They also dislike sneaking because crouching makes the exposed ass more noticeable. In contrast, a shameless player becomes more efficient while moving and sneaking.
    • Gameplay Effects:
      • Movement speed
      • Fortify/Damage sneak
Pussy
  • Controls Combat:
    • Forget about covering your pussy while holding a sword and fighting for your life. A modest player instinctively crosses their legs, affecting their damage output. In contrast, a shameless player leverages the distraction caused by their movements to improve their damage output.
    • Gameplay Effects:
      • Health regeneration (possibly)
      • Stamina regeneration (possibly even drain )
      • Melee damage output

Extreme States

  • Topless:

    • Stack on top of boob effects, affecting magic defense.
    • Gameplay Effects:
      • Buffs/debuffs to magic resistance
      • Spell absorption (possibly)
  • Bottomless:

    • Stack on top of ass/pussy effects, affecting physical defense.
    • Gameplay Effects:
      • Buffs/debuffs to armor rating
  • Naked:

    • Extreme exposure; stacks with bottomless and topless, with additional effects.
    • Gameplay Effects:
      • Archery damage
      • Shout cooldown
      • Speech skill (possibly)
      • Pickpocketing (a naked character is more distracting, so pickpocketing may be improved)

Additional Considerations

  • Archery: I’m still debating whether to include archery in the pussy camp.
  • Speech and Pickpocketing: These effects are a bit weak thematically.
  • Shout Cooldown: This doesn’t fit well thematically, but the naked bonus needs to be enticing for players.

Additional Effect for Shameless Players

I plan to add an additional effect for shameless and naked players that increases the bonus as they forgo more armor pieces (e.g., head, hands, boots). I’ll calibrate this roughly around the Archmage robes for magic effects (which will likely be weaker) but strengthen it if all other items are forgone.

My goal is not to make this mod overpowered compared to a fully geared player with high Smithing, Enchanting, and heavy armor. Instead, I want to create a reasonable progression path for players.

No, this is not a defeat mod, there are already a ton of mods that are related to defeat. 
I'm not sure if there is a defeat mod that takes into consideration how dressed you are, for the most part those are death prevention(Acheron, defeat, shadows of skyrim) or straight up rape-attack (battlefuck)

 

However, indirectly you could spiral out of control if you become naked (through armor degradation) mid combat, so for example a modest player suddenly becomes naked, becomes over encumbered, magic cost twice as much, does not regenerate magic, attack is halved, you get a weakness to magicka etc. Now you cannot win, and is almost imposible to escape so you will be organically defeated

 

Similarly, Consider you are shameless, and using DD, and you get equiped chastity bra/belt, Now you get a debuff for being too covered. 

My idea is that the mod should be somewhat organically define gameplay, also it give the player choice, how much do you want to push for naked comfort. 
For example if you use licenses, you may need to become more comfortable with wearing bikini armors to avoid the penalties.


Also there are a few mods that already interact with your dressed state, babo dialogue and or SLHH (baka keywords), or sexy adventures (with AND support), which for example increase the chances of you being raped or similar, I'd rather integrate, or be seamless with those mods

No you summarized what I meant by defeat.

Seems pretty effective and necessary in Eyes Wide Shut, the funny part is it's some of the most sterile and unsexy nudity in film imo. It just adds to the cold, weird and methodical nature of the event.

What I might suggest is you have two debuffs that are applied when the condition is met, the first is the normal one you suggest that persists as long as the condition is active, but a second would be a temporary and extremely more potent version of it that is applied as a debuff and it can wear off after a minute, like the character is in shock, i.e. you get stripped in combat, or a npc strips you.

That's an interesting suggestion, but it may be fairly problematic to do.

 

Since this is thought to be an AND add-on, the nudity state detection is completely relegated. Since AND runs on its own clock that means that I have to keep track of the current state and the previous state just to add a temporal buff.

 

With curtains and translucent items this can be a disaster, especially if the debuffs/buffs are longer than the dice roll.

 

I'm more inclined for state based buffs.

Furthermore in my plan the naked rebuffs for a modest player are fairly strong, I'd say crippling ( at least for now)

BUMP. 

I just added a draft of the buffs/debuffs I have planned. 
The effects are eyeballed, I have not tested the balance, I have yet to implement this, I only did a small proof of concept of 1 effect 1 condition, and that the user can change the strength in the MCM. 

Save for survival mode integration (COLD), this is roughly where I'm going to. 
Weak are weak effects, minor bonuses, basically they tend to give flavor to the playthrough but do not direct gameplay for the most part
Normal are stronger bonuses that Heavily influence gameplay. The full stack allows the player to choose their preferred style and play around with the armors chosen. Playing shameless+naked can be competitive, but straying too far from the current modesty rank preferred clothing can be severe. 
Strong bonuses are much stronger, You should focus on the current modesty rank, you can progress back and forth, but with care. It can be rewarding but not balanced. Shameless and naked can be fairly OP, while not completely broken. 

Note that in this design relaxed (Showing underwear), is the most "balanced", as it can give you the most freedom with the least strong buffs/debuffs from going all the way from completely covered to completely naked. Similarly, Modest is the most discouraged playstyle (wven with weak effects), If you are going to use this mod, you should not want to stay modest the whole playthrough, although it could be an interesting challenge run in a strongly LL-influenced list (licenses and whatnot)

According to what I've designed you can choose to turn off/on and the strength for each modesty rank and each "zone" (ass, chest, genitals, naked-extra effects) to mix and match the balance. BUT I will not do it for each individual effect I'd go crazy and it would be impossible to test.

@Arkbar. I tried to make this mod but ive given up now, here is the progress I made so far.

 

basically will give a debuff or buff if you are uncomfortable/comfortable showing chest/ass/genitals (the actual stat effects were intended to be placeholders)

 

I got the script to "run" in game but it never worked at adding the effects, and in trying to fix it it just suddenly stopped compiling because it cant find the file (probably something to do with mo2?? no clue im tired of fucking with this thing

Papyrus is retarded, but I never intended to make the mod work through papyrus. My plan is to make the mod following the mold from https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/56819

 

I already did a functional proof of concept 

For modest player if its showing bra, it reduces magic  regen to 0. This works fine. 

 

My development of this mod is on hold right now for 2 reasons

1- I know exactly what to do, I can make the whole mod on xedit, but it's painfully slow, time consuming and error prone, also very hard to debug. So I want to learn xedit scripting so this way the script will fix the esp. 

 

2- AND added a new progression system for top/not which means I have to redesign the buff/debuff table to account for this. Also I have to update BARE for this.

 

I'm currently updating BARE, it may take me a couple weeks ( depending on how much time I can spare for the project) then I'll start working on this again
