Mama Murphy not in Concord at start of concord quest

After I clear the museum, Preston just says I need to listen to him.  Mama Murphy is not on the couch.  Without her present the dialogue leading to saving Preston, the longs, Sturges and Mama will not start.  I don't know how to bring her back.  I have tried player.placeatme and various id's for Mama, but none have worked.  Is there a mod with a known problem causing this?

What you could try in that room is to open the console and type in: "prid 1a4d9" + enter and then "moveto player" + enter. (Without the quotes and with the spaces). That should teleport Mama Murphy to your position. Perhaps she is stuck somewhere or even fell through the ground. Placeatme would call a copy that does not have the same functions like the original. I cannot say anything to mods that might alter her.

This is really helpful.  Thank you.  I ended up starting a couple of new games.  The second new game, worked normally.  But I really appreciate your help.  I will try it next time I get stuck.
