Where do I begin with all of this?

I added the Sexbound Reborn .pak to my Mods folder, but...now what? I tried using an item, and there was no animation that played. My character just turned invisible, but a "Having Sex" icon appeared under the HP/Stamina bar. The instructions on all of these mods (save for the tentacle one) don't seem fully clear, so...what all should I install to make it just work?

 

And I apologize if this is all obvious and I just missed it, but I'm not the best with technical stuff. Thank you.

You don't give a lot of detail. Presumably so far you have no other mods? Just vanilla races, vanilla everything, with sexborn added.

"item"? Unclear what you mean. You do get the icon for having sex even when in a waiting idle pose for sex to begin, so maybe you have an unsupported modded race, but I thought unsupported stuff became a human sprite.

Aphrodite's bow(the Reborn page mentions where to get the pak) is a good way to make sex happen with an actual entity on demand. You get the bow underneath the Ark, where the guy hiding out with the mask is in vanilla. Without the bow, using a table just makes you stand there waiting, and an NPC has to have high horniness to join in.

In any case, when in the Having Sex situation, you mouse over around the middle of the screen to make the animation wheel appear and select which animation you want. This requires having a partner to fuck, or if you placed down a sex toy then interacting with that will let you fuck the toy itself.

All I have is sexbound-reborn-1.2_r2.pak and SxB - API POV Redux 4.2.0.pak, as well as the sexbound-reborn-config folder. The "item" was one of the toys from the vending machine.

 

I got the animation wheel to show up, and NPCs were near my character, but there's nothing for me to select on the wheel.

They have to join the node. If they aren't horny, they aren't going to do it. Can't select an animation if they're not joining. Here's a visual aid for you

Is that Bow mod you mentioned the only way to get them to join the node, or can I make it happen another way?

The wheel being empty when you are the only person in the node is normal. As there are currently no solo positions. Everything requires atleast 2 people.

 

And if you do not want to use additional mods like Aphrodite's Bow, then the only way to have sex with other NPCs is to wait until they reach max arousal. Which takes about 3-7 in-game days of time that they need to be actively loaded in (basically on screen) for. Whch takes between 40 and 100 minutes from the time that particular NPCs has been loaded in with Sexbound installed for the first time.
