SurferJay Posted July 20, 2025 Posted July 20, 2025 View File SurferJay's Barebare Mod Redux This mod edit expands Moomany's great mod with the following additions: - Fixes the waist seam - Adds a large breast size - Adds a medium breast size - Added toned abs variants of all breast sizes - Added an upper-legs-only legs variant for reducing clipping with various boots - Structured the in-game names to make them easier to use Many thanks to Moomany for the excellent Barebaremod mod! ----------------------------------------------------- -- IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT WAIST SEAM FIX ----------------------------------------------------- The seam was fixed by transferring Moo's smooth legs weight to the bottom seam of the various torsos. It produced a pixel-perfect removal of the waist gap, even in extreme poses such as kneeling soldiers. Therefore, this demonstrates that the waist seam gap has all along been a mismatched weights issue. The below fixed this package, but any package that repackaged nude torsos will need its own fix applied. -- !!IMPORTANT!!-------------------------------- IMPORTANT! For consistency, and I can't stress this enough, so we don't create a mess of edited seams, USE MOO's LEGS AS THE AUTHORITATIVE WEIGHT. DO NOT TRANSFER WEIGHTS TO YOUR LEGS, ELSE YOUR LEGS MIGHT NOT LINE UP WITH OTHER SEAM-FIXED TORSOS! PLEASE BE CONSISTENT IN HOW WE APPLY THIS FIX ACROSS OUR MODS. Please use the X2 Torso Fixer tool to fix your torsos. It performs the below steps automagically. Steps to fix a torso seam: 1. Export to FBX the smooth legs from Moo's mod 2. Export to FBX your torso(s) 3. Import both meshes into Blender 4. Select your torso, go into edit, select the second to the bottom row of vertices - The bottom row of vertices SHOULD be the end of the Hidden material. Leave that alone. - The row above that is the end of the actual skin layer. Select this row. 5. Go to the Data tab to view the vertex groups and lock all vertex groups 6. Create a deleteme vertex group and assign the selected vertices to it 7. Go to the Modifiers tab and create a new Data Transfer modifier - Source: Moo's smooth legs - Mix Mode: Replace (default) - Mix Factor: 1 (default) - Vertex Group: deleteme - (Open modifier's Vertex Data options) - Tick to enable Vertex Groups - Mapping: Nearest Face Interpolated 8. Exit out of edit mode, going back to object mode 9. Click the dropdown to the right of the Data Transfer modifier's name, click Apply 10. Go to the Data tab and delete all UNLOCKED vertices (better not have skipped step 5) 11. Unlock all vertices, click your torso, shift-click your armature, and export to FBX 12. Import the weight-transferred torso into your mod and enjoy the waist seam fix I own none of the assets, their credit belong to their creators. shrimplor Posted October 19, 2025 Posted October 19, 2025 Thank you for the update(s) that you've been doing, and for the Advent Angel stuff! I have a question about this mod, though. I deleted the OG Barebare mod, and installed this version. I can see the items in my various equipment slot lists, but the models are all invisible. Do you know what would cause this? Is this mod conflicting with another mod like the Torso Pack/Sack/Rack mods? 3
