how to swap masked verticles in outfit studio

when i select show verticles and try to mask certain things, how do i swap the red to green ? 

 

I find it annoying to mask the entire outfit first then unmask what i want to remove.

ctrl+i should invert your selection

If I understand what you ask. It should be easy. If you use your mouse to "paint" the vertices you want to erase. (painting red). Holding LeftALT button while "painting" changes the pen to an eraser. (changes vertices painted back to green)

right but to do that you have to first mask the entire outfit. ctrl+i is what i needed to know.
