Error when trying to initiate sex and select sims

I'm receiving an error when I try to initiate sex. I click on the furniture and go to the wicked menu and select the category like usual, but when that pop-up window comes up where it wants me to select which sims to participate/invite, that window shows up half off the screen at the bottom. The window seems responsive when I hover my cursor over the buttons and I can click on the sim options and makes that click sound, but the selection doesn't stick, the exit "X" button in the corner doesn't work either. I can't use any key shortcuts to exit this either.

 

At first i thought it was a UI error but after going through all the troubleshooting for that, it still occurs. I also tried removing all recent mods I've installed and updated the game and wicked whims too, still no fix. This occurs on other save files too.

 

Has anyone experienced/heard of this error before? I don't want to restart my game installation folder and start from scratch, but it's starting to look like I have to :'(

Yeah I've been having the same problems I did everything you did as well I truly believe these updates are breaking everything

Actually I figured it out. I removed my mods in groups to see which group was causing the error, then I narrowed it down eventually to a single mod. I had a mod that enabled a search bar for animations, once that was removed everything was working properly. I believe it was the searchable pose player mod.

look for Tmex-SearchablePosePlayer.package in your Mods folder and remove it
