Ignoring AAF gender

is there a mod that removes gender limits on AAF animations?

Step one: Find the folder named AAF_Settings and open it. (I personally use Notepad to edit it.)

Step two: On the left side of the screen, you'll see [PREFERENCES]. Scroll down until you find "ignore_animation_genders" and change "=false" to "=true."

Now simply save the file and you're done.

You'll be treated as a woman in almost everything related to AAF.

I didn't do this advise and I can't found the post that I toke it but it works.

An alternative (for ignoring gender in certain animations only) is to replace:

gender="M"

or

gender="F"

line in the xml files to just:

gender=""

.

Thank you so much for this info- I'm just seeing this in 2026 and am finding it extremely helpful to get the animation mods to be more "same-sex friendly" haha

You can also use UAP+EAP, it adds same-sex versions for all avaible animation packs in a more convenient way (fixed tags, allows to make proper SAM adjusements etc.).
