Whenever I install Beeing Female SE i get this message box EVERY TIME i load a save. Beeing Female continues to not work and im not really sure why. I recently upgraded to Skyrim SE and have most of my old load order from LE but Beeing Female is one of the last mods i cant seem to get working correctly.  Is there a way to get rid of this message box popping up every load or is there a different version of Beeing Female I need to download?20250627031123_1.jpg.dcd56514c6508687a9960ade32e370be.jpg

Same issue as here probably. Unfortunately the OP never followed up on my post.

If you intend to do what I suggested, then don't read that as only being a way to identify the source mod (which you already have a likely candidate for), that is irrelevant. What's important there is which file its coming from. Once we know which script/plugin is doing it, we can see about fixing it.

In terms of source I am 100% certain Beeing Female is the culprit, the main issue im trying to resolve right now is whether or not Beeing Female can function properly, if I can get it running I dont mind the message box thing on load, but i rather not go through the trouble of trying to fix the text box part if when that is done the mod still isnt working correctly. As of right now the Beeing Female menu hangs indefinitely on the "force menu activation" screen in the MCM. Using that activation causing the mod to not do anything afterwards.

I wouldn't say that as long as we haven't seen the source code that displays the message box. The message box could be coming from one of your awesome hat mods that simply contains something like this:

If (Game.GetModByName("beingfemale.esp") != 255)
	Debug.MessageBox("")
EndIf

2 ways to figure that out:

  1. Do what I posted in the thread I linked, and analyze the source code to figure out why the message box is showing.
  2. Go through the mod description for Beeing Female and make sure each feature is working as advertized.

Personally I see option 1 as being far easier, faster and more reliable.
