nabliab Posted June 16, 2025 Posted June 16, 2025 Not sure what's going on but my female character has glossy skin when I switch in obody only way to reset this is to open racemenu and save/close. I ran into this years ago but can't remember what I did to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.
traison Posted June 16, 2025 Posted June 16, 2025 (edited) Same issue as here. Edited June 16, 2025 by traison
nabliab Posted June 16, 2025 Author Posted June 16, 2025 (edited) I've scanned for "data": under all jslots (using a custom powershell script I created) for overrides and updated it but doesn't seem to do anything. I'll keep looking. Edited June 16, 2025 by nabliab

If you didn't apply that modified jslot file to your character after editing it, nothing will happen. Also, simply editing the jslot file most likely won't do anything if the mod that broke it is still active. If obody is breaking it, you'd have to also fix obody.

The odd thing is a new character will do it regardless, even if it's the default female. Somehow this started recently, I don't recall seeing this last month while playing it.
nabliab Posted June 16, 2025 Author Posted June 16, 2025 Thanks for your help. I found the problem mod. SLO Aroused NG 3.0.5.1 Uninstalled it and now there's no more stupid gloss.

But honestly, I really didn't use SLO Aroused anyways.
traison Posted June 17, 2025 Posted June 17, 2025 Working around this issue by adjusting ENB or mesh specularity settings is not the correct approach. You're "fixing" an issue by causing 10 new ones. 1
