Imp Breeder

A small event mod that adds a decision for players to open their bedchamber window at night for a small stress reduction and a small increase in enemy hostile success chance. Keeping your window open and unguarded at night is dangerous, however, and you never know what sort of intruders might get in during the night!

 

Heavily inspired by both the mods of Phaze Star and the game Corruption of Champions II, which the vast majority of the mod’s text has been sourced from and given alterations to better fit the context of Crusader Kings 3. 

 

This is my first mod, and as of now stands as a self-indulgent proof of concept more so than anything else. I plan to continue expanding as I learn more about mod development. 

 

Future Plans

  • Proper Carnalitas integration
  • Infernal pregnancy system that produces usable imp MAA
  • More general imp encounter events
  • Ability to capture/harbor imps in your domicile
  • Lewd combat events for imp soldiers (similar to the combat events in Phaze's Futanari Mod)
  • Upgrade system for imp soldiers

Not sure how to do that in all honesty, maybe one of the localization files is named improperly? Otherwise my localization folders match up with the basegame file structure and it works on my end so I'm stumped as to how it's broken. I've only done localization for English so far, so if your localization isn't working it could also be that. If you know how to fix the pathing otherwise, lemme know and I'll fix it ASAP!

I did have to fix the path myself for it to work, still early on but keeping an eye out

huge goof on my end, fixed the file pathing in the mod file to be relative and also added a lil modifier i'm playing with

I don't think so at least not yet the roadmap part of the post says they want to integrate it meaning it hasn't yet

not at the moment but in the future i wanna add carnalitas integration, so expect to need carnalitas alongside this soon

Okay, so after a bit of testing i have been unable to get the event to spawn more than once after opening the window, even after 5 years of ingame time no additional events.

Only way i can get  the event again is by closing the window and then opening it again, and then only once untill i do it again.
 

Imp Breeder was the ONLY mod activated

should be fixed as of v0.1.2, added an on_action for the event sequence + fixed the decisions + modifier. hopefully with this update the mod should actually be playable even if the event will be pretty repetitive :P

I made an edited machine translation of the localization for myself. While there is little text, it does not take much time. Whoever needs it, let them take it and use it.
The user folder had to be changed manually again.

I’m a non-native English speaker, so my wording might not be very precise — I apologize for that. I’m here to ask for your help.
After placing your mod into the game’s mod folder, I couldn’t add it in the game launcher. It shows: Mod installation failed: The path in this mod's descriptor file is invalid or does not exist.
What should I do in this situation? All my other mods are installed the same way and work fine. This is the first time I’ve encountered this issue. I’m not sure if you have a solution for it.

this is because i am a Stupid Person and keep forgetting to upload the mod with the proper pathing in it's mod file, just uploaded a new version that should have a proper filepath and should fix this, sorry my friend

i'll make a note to double check the mod file every time before i upload a new version lol
