Better Riften, what You think Riften is missing? :x

Riften is my favorite city~!

If I have to play this game, I'm not moving oustide the Riften... ( and maybe around in near area )

 

So I want to make Riften into great city~!!

Tell me, what You think Riften is missing, so You maybe inspire me to add it

 

Here is what I have as for now:

( yes I placed in on top of the children garden, so they cant go outside anymore, now they are stuck inside with lovely grelot...

Well they are very early stage of making  After all I downloaded Skyrim like 3 days ago xD

What would happen with the statue of Mara other than bestowing the blessing of Mara? If so, I'd remove the one inside the temple.

 

Perhaps a permanent Khajit camp (with new NPCs, obviously).

 

Another room with a bed in the house at the stables, for Shadr to sleep in.

 

A player home on a boat (just a relatively plain home along the lines of Riften Garret, not elaborate like The Scarlett). A reward for doing something for Maven (like deliver Honningbrew for her).

 

"Sleep with me, at least three times, Haelga, and each time I'll give you back one of the Marks I took from those men. And I won't tell Svanna. And then we'll be fuck buddies."

Bank of Riften: ( It's still not finished, but im stopping work on it so I can work on Khajit Camp )

For now I added small Khajiit camp

They are staying here for all the time.

 

There is male -> Joshargo, I made him a merchant that sells Moon Sugar and Skooma ( He can also buy stolen items )

Also there is female -> Tisava -> She is Joshargo Sex toy

For now they have just AI package to go sleep between 22:00 to 6:00 and then stand still in front of a tent xD

Later I will add them more AI Packages so they can do more ( maybe even visit a city from time to time )

 

 

 

Btw. what do You mean by "player home on a boat"

You mean like with interior? Like a big boat or just a fishing boat with sleeping bag and some decorations on it? xD

As for the Statue of Mara, it's not "normal" statue, I made it to have name "Holy Statue of Mara" and interaction "Touch"

As for now I dont know what I want that statue to do... but it will not be giving normal blessing...

 

One of my ideas is that Holy Statue will give rewards for the more sex You have

For example You get raped 10 times and You get some reward...

 

But I think that is kinda too simple... so Im still thinking about what Statue would do xD

Something in the Warrens, like a gambling den, since there's no gambling in the Flagon by default. Make the denizens of the Warrens not hostile by default. Someone posted on reddit an idea to have an entrance directly into the Warrens from Riften. Perhaps from Beggars Row.

 

This is pretty vague, but assuming you don't kill Aringoth, some reason to go back and visit him after the quest to raid his safe and burn his beehives, some kind of "Let me make it up to you" endeavor.

Hmm... the lake is kinda too small in my opinion for big boats :/...

I can't promise anything with the boats but im really much into the Beggars in Riften now xD so will look into boats later :3...

As for what I do with the beggars:

I get raped and attacked from time to time in Riften... and I simply have no money to pay for the bed or food...

So I decided to make ability to upgrade BeggarsRow and added player bed ( its actually assigned to player and can give good rest bonus )

 

On top of that the backpack works as Menu for upgrading...

at first You have only bed,

You can get cooking station, alchemy bench and smithing anvil, also upgrade furniture and get "generators"

These are just item spawners that would give You free items every day ( a bit of food so u dont starve )

 

Ofc. Generators works only once every 24 hours :x...

 

It also allows You to store gold ( with a limit of max total - can upgrade stash too )

Level 1: max 500 gold

Level 2: Max 2000 gold

Level 3: Max 5000 gold ( so You can buy a house )

 

This gold ofc. cannot be stolen as its being stored within a script that is ... maybe writen like stupid...

But well... I dont want to use MCM for that...
