(Resolved) Always on All Fours

I'm new to Skyrim, and I have a modded version of Steam's Anniversary Edition. One of the things that strikes me as odd is how the character will move on all fours when not armed and not 'Crawling' through CTRL. I have no idea what is causing it or how to change it. In dialogue I often see a statement that the character is already crawling. Major mods are Devious Devices and Deviously Cursed Loot.

Thoughts?

Some devious devices will force you to crawl, so you could try unequipping everything if you haven't tried that already. I also remember you could crawl using the Sanguine Debauchery mod by pressing the up and down keys (it might be different keys for you, you can check the mod's MCM if you have it installed).

Other than those two, I'm not really familiar with other mods that make you crawl, except maybe those that replace the sneaking animation with moving on all fours. But I guess you would know if you had installed those, unless you are using a modpack.

If it's none of those, I'm out of ideas. Hopefully someone else knows.

Edit: Actually, since you mentioned you see a message telling you that your character is already crawling when in dialogue, I would bet it's highly likely Sanguine's Debauchery is the culprit. It's been a while since I played Skyrim, but I do remember seeing a very similar notification when I was controlling the dialogue options using the up and down keys. If that is in fact your problem, you can fix it by changing the hotkeys in the MCM or you can use "w" and "s" to cycle through dialogue options.

That was it! I've been playing Fallout 4 with the Extended Dialogue Mod, so I'm often using the arrow keys for dialogue and that may be the culprit!

That's one thing Fallout 4 got mostly right. MCM quick keys are centrally tracked and rarely conflict (especially since you need to enable them). In Skyrim there are a lot of active defaults and they all step on each others toes! You could also see every hot key available from one screen.

Thanks!
