Sims can't speak to eachother.

I've downloaded all animations & required objects for animations and have recently run into an issue where my sims can't talk to each other at all

I've never seen anything like that, wow! It's definitely going to be a mod causing it. If you're sure they're all up to date, then start moving out the ones with *.ts4script first. That's likely the one. You can turn off script mods in the game settings if you want to test the theory. Maybe you could undo your last animation and cc install to see if that did cause the problem.
