I've also tried using commands like: Player.Forceav speedmult 100, among others. Using the command works at first, but after a few minutes, I keep having the same problem over and over again. This problem is getting me really desperate. I've been searching for a solution for quite some time, but nothing has worked. I'd appreciate any help because I simply don't know what else to do. ebbluminous Posted June 4, 2025 Posted June 4, 2025 Its usually down to when you have several mods that affect movement speed interacting with each other. First port of call would be find out all the mods that affect movement speed. I'm not familar with a lot of the mods in your list, especially the ones modifying combat/movement.I suspect mod interaction is getting funky. Had it before, but with different mods. My only solution was either remove some of the mods, or if the mcm had options for movement, disable them. 1

Mods like Fill Her Up will affect movement speed but only under certain conditions (hopefully). Look at Blade And Blunt through xEdit. Find the Movement Speed section and see what mods affect movement speed. Or maybe it's B&B alone. I removed B&B because it was impacting my speed. I use a general movement speed mod that changes vanilla speeds to something more realistic. B&B was changing it so I removed it. Needs mods, survival mods, who knows. I'm not familar with a lot of the mods in your list, especially the ones modifying combat/movement.I suspect mod interaction is getting funky. Had it before, but with different mods. My only solution was either remove some of the mods, or if the mcm had options for movement, disable them. Thanks for the advice, I'm already making progress, I'd say I've almost fixed it. I decided to delete Blade And Blunt since it modifies the speed in certain circumstances. Now I don't have this problem so often and now I'm trying to find out which other mods continue to cause this problem.

Would like to know what to avoid. 😊 First of all, I'll clarify that they may not work properly due to incompatibility with some mods or similar, but these are the mods that also gave me problems. Things I discovered: - SSE Bug Fixes - Anniversary Edition - Sprint Sneak Movement Speed Fix (These mods fix a vanilla bug where your character's running animation gets bugged when sheathing or unsheathing while running.) I tried both, but they gave me problems. Eventually, my character's speed skyrocketed. Luckily, I don't have many mods that affect running, so I was able to figure it out easily. - Ordinator (a mod that modifies the leveling tree perks) This mod modifies ice magic, which changes the speed of the target damaged by it, making it go slower. The problem is that the speed doesn't return to normal, so I had to remove this mod. PS: I also tried another perk mod (Master of One). It also gave me problems, but in reverse. Instead of going slower because of ice magic, my character was now gaining more speed. My solution to ice magic was to play with the vanilla perks and install the following mod: No Frost Slow Down Effect - SSE (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/31870). Otherwise, I'd say I no longer have any speed issues, or at least for now. I've been playing for a while, and aside from the ice magic issue, everything worked fine. My advice: be careful with mods that affect speed permissions. Example: I installed Wildcast, and when your character tires, the mod modifies the speed permission to -15. Supposedly, once you regain stamina, it should return to normal, but in my case, it always stayed at -15. Luckily, the mod came with an MCM to remove this, so this mod no longer gives me problems. Otherwise, I'd say I no longer have any speed issues, or at least for now. I've been playing for a while, and aside from the ice magic issue, everything worked fine. My advice: be careful with mods that affect speed permissions. Example: I installed Wildcast, and when your character tires, the mod modifies the speed permission to -15. Supposedly, once you regain stamina, it should return to normal, but in my case, it always stayed at -15. Luckily, the mod came with an MCM to remove this, so this mod no longer gives me problems. Sweet of you to share what you learned. SSE Bugfixes is a must for me and has never impacted my movement speed that I can see. Maybe a keyword search through that mod's forum pages may give you a solution. It seems to fix so many things I would be afraid to remove it. I'm not technical enough to know how but it seems to be a must have for a modded game. Just a thought. I don't use Ordinator but tried it. I prefer another perk tree mod and the associated mods from the author of Blade and Blunt. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/30191 I use some of his mods along with Experience. Changed the way I level up and I cannot spam my way through perks. Measured improvement in skill trees. You seem to be very interested in melee and combat in general which I am not. I do use Precision, Poise, Scar, Valhalla, and Violens and improved animations. Some of Maxsu's other mods as well. Basically improved and more realistic. You may like MCO animations if you have not tried them. Very elaborate and what I've seen on Utube. Smooth has a whole lot of mods that make combat more fancy. I don't use them but if that is what you are looking for. Sorry to go on this long. Girls like to talk and I do on forums as well. I will share with you that I thought about getting very fancy with combat mods but changed my mind. Basic improvement only is now my goal. Realistic blocking, realistic stamina usage, etc. Improved enemy behavior, improved animations but not fancy animations. I've not tried MCO or BFCO. I prefer to play my game wondering around and doing what I want with my follower along. I normally play as a mage anyway. I think if I was a guy and played as a male, I might think about combat more and want to dominate in combat. I don't know. My game is stable and I only have problems with sexy mods causing me issues now. I live with it. Later my friend. Good luck with your game. 🥰
