FNISforModders - Generating behavior files for Anubs anims - ERROR(2012): Could not generate - SOLVED

In the process of cleaning Anubs SLAL files. Having to reconstruct his txt files to generate json files and FNIS instructions.

 

When using GenerateFNISforModdders as I usually do, I get this error. The json file is made exactly like my own.

 

I never get errors with my own. But Anubs keep failing with this error.

 

 

Hoping for help on this one...

 

 

This will make me able to clean/delete those anims that I don't want from his pack.

Just got the answer from Anub as well. A space in the name can give that error.

I have already generated behavior files.

This issue shows up in Process Monitor from Sysinternals (Microsoft). Whenever there's an IO related problem, fire it up and it'll show you where the issue is.

 

Most likely what you'd see in a situation like this is the file name being cut off at the space, so the first 2 guesses you can make from that is:

1. The file name is too long.
2. The file name was cut off at the first whitespace character.

There was a space between Anubs and Bigguy. I put them together like my own NCK30.

Bingo Presto. It worked.

I know. My point was that you don't need to be an expert in everything if you know how to use the diagnostics tools.
