Modding Arcen Games

Full disclosure: I do not have any financial or professional ties to Arcen Games, and I am not trying to change that.

I want to start a modding group for a game called Heart of the Machine, which is developed by Arcen Games. I have a few reasons for doing this, including my personal enjoyment of it and the desire to support an indie developer. There's a good chance you heard of one of their games, like AI Wars, The Last Federation, or A Valley Without Wind., and they're a longtime independent developer that deserves a larger audience. I think that making some NSFW mods would be a great way of introducing new people to this otherwise niche company, and Heart of the Machine has room for at least one. I have an idea where the AI we play as intercepts various phone calls, like a boss sexually harassing his subordinate or an unattractive man selling his virginity for food. Everything needs to fall within the theme of a plausible cyberpunk metropolis on a rotting Earth, which means that the tone must be extremely grim and somewhat realistic. I plan to have a basic script out by Wednesday, at the latest, and I intend to have ten conversations prepared. If you're interested in helping out, please consult the Arcen Games lore page, which you can find here. Since the company has a sizeable catalogue, there's a good amount of material to work with, and we're very early on in the timeline when there are still around 2 billion people left on Earth. A megacorporation, Vorsiber Atomics, currently rules over the city, supported by federated companies that collaborate with it. Ultimately, all the power in the city is held by the governing business, while the others are allowed to function so long as they don't interfere with the true elite. You can find more information on the game-specific lore here, although the developer might be willing to answer relevant questions. He's very responsive, and part of the reason I want to support his business is because he's thought everything in his story through. It's obvious that he cares a lot about what he's making, and I really like that. Let's see if we can add some extra content and help a deserving game developer out, even if Loverslab users may not be his ideal customer demographic. We know that we're good, creative people, and if you help me code some proper missions, we'll make some cool stuff.

I'll have the initial documents ready by Wednesday, and I hope to see you then. Just remember that the tone is grim, cyberpunk, and hard sci-fi.
