Beginner Modding Guide and Mod Pack

Introduction

 

 

I've been hearing about Venus Vacation for years but decided to give it a try only now (2025).

 

The titilating gameplay literally begs for nude mods, but even after searching through the DOAXVV forum on LoversLab I couldn't figure out how to make it work.

So in order to help others like me, I've decided to make a Beginner Modding Guide and a Mod Pack for easy setup.

 

Download Mod Pack v1.3

(Note: I'm sharing through MEGA as the file size is too large (>2GB) to be uploaded on LoversLab)

 

Important Note

If you've been using a previous version of my Mod Pack, please delete the folders under `\Mods\Skins` before copying the files from Mod Pack v1.3 over. This is because I've changed the skin textures from HI-METAL to KF2314, and they may clash if you still have the HI-METAL textures installed.

 

Change Log

• 20-Aug-2025: Changed nude skins to Simple 4K by KF2314. Added SR/SSR costumes for default outfits of Koharu, Elise, Patty, Reika, Meg
• 02-Jun-2025: Fixed Sayuri, Nanami & Reika

• 20-May-2025: Added skins for Lobelia, Tsukushi, Amy, Elise, Koharu, Shandy, Shizuku, Tina, Yukino

How to Install

1. Unzip and copy over the contents of `Beginner Mod Pack.zip` to the DOAXVV game folder (the same folder where `DOAX_VV.exe` is located)

2. Start the game and enjoy!

3. Various parts of teddy's costume mods can be toggled/modified by pressing CTRL+Z, CTRL-X, CTRL-C key combinations

Next Steps

Remember that each costume needs their own customization. The Beginner Mod Pack should cover most of the [N]ormal and [R]are ranked costumes.

 

But once you start pulling Gachas and get some SR or SSR costumes you like, you can search for the costume's names and download their relevant mod.

My personal favorite is teddy's costume mods, so you might want to start searching in his thread:

 

Another excellent source of costume mods is Lunatic Dawn's mods, which you can get from this thread:

 

The downloaded mods should be extracted under the `Mods` folder of the DOAXVV game folder.

 

3Dmigoto supports hot-reloads, so just press CTRL+ALT+F10 in the game and any new mods you've added should automatically be applied!

HI-METAL hasn't created a skin for Elise, but searching through the forums this question has been asked before:

But I haven't unlocked Elise yet so I can't confirm whether it works.

You can:

1. Choose the girl you want to get wet
2. Go into Photo Mode
3. Select Water Spray (keyboard shortcut "V")
4. Spray all over her!

 

She will remain wet for the next 1 match, though after that her wetness will reset.

 

As far as I know, there's no way to get the girls to be "wet" by default.

there are wet effect mods somewhere out there that makes the skin glossy, I'm not sure who made it so you will need to find it yourself

Key points being:

* Log out of Steam from your browser

* Activate VPN

* Go to Steam on web browser (while connected to VPN) and create a new account

* Search for DOAXVV and add to library 

 

If all else fails, send me a DM. I might be able to help you create a new non-region locked Steam account since I'm physically within the allowed regions.

I haven't unlocked these girls yet but I'll try and see if I can get the appropriate mods for them.

As for Nanami, can you try this?

 

For Reika, this is the one I'm using (from HI-METAL). Not sure why it isn't working, and I can't do further testing since I don't have Reika yet:

I am unable to download files from the webpage because I am in China. I use VPN and IDM to download, but my IDM always displays SSL_connect error. Can you upload files to MEGA? I can download from MEGA.

Hmm no idea. I don't have the DMM version and only tested this on the Steam version. But feel free to test it out and let me know if it works!
