anon6289 Posted May 9 Posted May 9 I am having an issue where undressing a sim using WW (using undressable cc, completely undressing, sex) leads to torso and body hair appearing on my sims. If they re-dress, the hair disappears until I undress them again. This does not happen when they shower. The pictures should show what I am talking about. How do I fix this?
Princess Lyria Posted May 9 Posted May 9 (edited) MC Dresser Custom Definitions? ย Are you using Wild Guy's LUUMIA body hair? If you have the fileย mc_dresser.cfg in your /mods/McCommandCenter - Try moving it to a temporary place outside the mods folder, like your Desktop. Then try it again. Don't save your game yet. ย I see there's some conflict going on with the hair. ย ย Edited May 9 by Princess Lyria

I have set up an MC Dresser custom definition to remove all body hair on female sims. I will try to entirely remove mc_dresser.cfg and see if that helps.

Here is his current default config. mc_dresser.zipย README.txt ย Note from readme:ย While updating FBD, if this update affects body details that are included MC Dresser Custom Definitions, you need to replace the part related to FBD in the mc_dresser.cfg file with the updated one. ย ย ย Edited May 9 by Princess Lyria

Princess Lyria Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Make sure the CAS body hair is configured the way you want. There could also be parts unknowingly selected to enable hair growth.

Also, I think you're right about the parts unknowingly selected to enable hair growth b/c the normal non-cc townie sims don't have the issue.

Some body hairstyles get selected from a misconfigured dresser config. You should select the right hair configurations, or none, for each of these areas. Mostly for where no hair is wanted.

Yes, I have disabled hair growth for all the areas but unfortunately the issue persists. Even if I go to edit the sim and remove the body hair manually, the hair reappears once I use a WW undress interaction. I have just added another MC Cleaner definition to see if that will help. Not sure how else to proceed. Edited May 9 by anon6289

I messed with a couple other things and found a few things to be true. 1) If I use any sort of pubic hair, the torso and back hair appear. 2) If I disable pubic hair, the torso and back hair are gone, at least visually. If I go into CAS, they are still there but in game I do not see them.

Otherwise, they're like brand new right now. ย You may have some CC conflict. I look at your Sim's hair and it doesn't make sense. The mesh is totally wack. I think you have a bad body, a tattoo, or something out of date within your CC. I am also suspecting you have a merged package file causing a conflict. ย Are you ready? ย I hope you are willing to spend some time with me, because I'm usually committed to finishing what I started.ย ย I see from your history, this has been an unfortunate issue for some time. Let's finally attempt to fix it. ย Download TwistedMexi's Better Exceptions here or here and put it in your mods folder. ย Once in The Sims 4, shift+click on your Sim, with the hair issue active, and select "Locate Outfit CC". This will create a file in your /Sims4/ folder, attach it to your next post. ย ย ย ย Edited May 9 by Princess Lyria

anon6289 Posted May 9 Author Posted May 9 Also, I just checked and now it looks like the body hair issue is happening for my base game no cc sims as well. Not sure what's going on.
Princess Lyria Posted May 9 Posted May 9 (edited) ย ย If you can, copy your Mods folder to a safe place in case of disaster. ย ย ย Like Jinx once said, "You're doing great, Chuck!"ย ย ย I see a few issues in the mod setup. Some of these mods have been broken for a long time, and there are duplicates. The bare skin CC, for example, hasnโt worked in years. Youโve also got multiple โRemove EA Eyelashesโ mods, some of which are outdated. It looks like a lot of your mods are sitting directly in the root folder without subfolders.ย ย Youโll want to structure your Mods folder for stability and ease of troubleshooting.ย ย For example: * Hair could go in: \Mods\Hair\ * Eyelashes could go in: \Mods\Eyelashes\ * Makeup could be: \Mods\Makeup\ * Skin would likely go in: \Mods\Skin\ * Clothes may go in: \Mods\Clothes\ * Sliders into: \Mods\Sliders\ * Basemental Drugs mandatorily goes in: \Mods\Basemental Drugs\ ย Wild Guy's package is split up, and that's totally fine as long as the anatomy folder is loading correctly. It should be at the top of the folders in the directory using alphabetical order, and yours is in a good spot. This is so the nudity overrides load first, as required at game start. I usually name priority folders beginning with "!" (bang) just to make sure it's always first. Like: "\Mods\!Anatomy\". That's just my preference because I keep Wild Guy's mods in just one folder called "!Wild_Guy". Using the "bang" puts in at the alphabetical top while keeping the name of the folder basically the same.ย ย Youโve got some updating and organizing ahead of you. Definitely remove any duplicates, and group the mods into clearly labeled folders. ย There are some tools to help, and... (drum roll)... you've got me at a very cheap rate. ย Mod Manager This tool will help with updating mods available on CurseForge. It also has the ability to remove all duplicates with ease. ย I am here with you when you need me. I will also DM links to better mods than some of those you have. ย ย ย Edited May 10 by Princess Lyria 1
Princess Lyria Posted May 9 Posted May 9 (edited) ย Don't give up. ย One more thing... ย We're going to take a snapshot of your Mods folder. This will create a text file with a map of the directory structure, and files inside it. ย Easy Peasy: ย * Press Windows Key + R to open the Run window. * Type cmd and press Enter. * Copy and paste the following commands: ย At a command prompt, enter: cd "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods" ย from that directory, enter:ย dir /s >my_file_structure.txt ย Send me the file "my_file_structure.txt"located in your mods folder. (no worries, I won't share anything) ย **What's the version info at the top of this text file:ย "\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Config.log" Not the data from GameVersion.txt -"Dooooon't gooo in theeeeereโฆ"ย ๐ ย ย I will wait... ย ย ย ย ย ย Edited May 10 by Princess Lyria
