4nln415 Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 It's a new setup so I lost and forgot what I did to be able to see the images in bodyslide downgraded Pre-Gen AND I DID went into settings and changed the path to the data folder Feels like it's because I should unpack the files?
subaverage Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 Normally it's a wrong path set in Bodyslide. Maybe you have a typo in it. For Steam with standard installation the path for Bodyslide is: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 4\Data\ Other than that you could tell which outfit this is. So people using the same can say something or people could make own tests.

I think it's some of the vanilla textures because some of the mod's textures are showing but some vanilla outfits are showing and some are not. Edited May 8, 2025 by 4nln415
subaverage Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 Did you change the standard installation path of FO4?

Everything is the same (1st pic) except on D drive. I feel like maybe I'm missing some textures files or maybe the game isn't picking it up? They do show in game tho. Just not in blodyslide. Right now I'm thinking it's at least 2 mods conflicting. Lazman outfit replacer and 1950 female outfit. Edited May 8, 2025 by 4nln415
subaverage Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 Of course this can be the case. When you write vanilla is missing I would assume that e.g. you have the converted clothings coming with CBBE installed. Maybe they went something wrong during installation. So you could go through your textures folder and look whether the textures are there or reinstall the relating mods. Do the missing textures show up in game?

Could be old mod's pathing issue.
Miauzi Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 A well-known problem (missing textures) for bug-destination games (like Skyrim or Fallout). This is usually solved by starting the game ONCE WITHOUT the "script extender" after installing the "bodyslide" program. This will allow the "bodyslide" program to find the correct installation paths where the textures are stored.

Miauzi Posted May 8, 2025 Posted May 8, 2025 (edited) Vor 26 Minuten sagte 4nln415: Ich wollte es versuchen, aber es ist jetzt so stark modifiziert, dass ich es nicht starten kann, lol All you need to do is start the game and reach the main menu – you don't have to start a new game or load an existing save. And you can reach the main menu even in heavily modified games. Addendum: If that doesn't work anymore, then the only option is probably the -> "atomic option." Which involves deleting (via uninstall) the game and performing a complete reinstallation—although you should take care of the correct functioning of "Bodyslide" fairly early on. - And yes, I've had to do it this way several times. 4nln415 Posted May 8, 2025 Author Posted May 8, 2025 (edited) Fixed with the latest Caliente update Right now I'm starting to think this is a mod related issue. All of the vanilla outfit are showing textures but "Lazman's outfit replacer" aren't showing their supposed vanilla textures (their own stackings and bra are showing). Gonna try to reinstall them Seems like a fomod issue. I vaguely remember that's how I fixed it. Edited May 18, 2025 by 4nln415
Juffo78 Posted May 22, 2025 Posted May 22, 2025 (edited) I have got a similar issue with CBBE. Somehow, I don´t have the presets. There are 5 other (e.g. Fusion-VanillaEsque, Fusion-Athletic). I checked the Bodyslide settings, and it was actually gone haywire, as my MO2 mods are located at E:/modding/FO4. However- changing the path of Bodyslide doesn´t work, either. Still, the CBBE presets are missing. What am I doing wrong? I should point to the folser, where the CBBE folder is located, right? Edited May 22, 2025 by Juffo78
