3BA and BHUNP bodies can work with either HDT-SMP, CBPC or both, so without SMP it'll use CBPC. Wig, pants and chest goggles use HDT-SMP so without it they'll fall to the ground. To disable the physics you did the right choice by removing the xml folder

Deleting the XML folder did not solve the problem. Or do I need to rebuild bodyslide

without the xml they should be stiff, maybe the lack of hdt-smp requirement is messing with it

Dont know if you know this or if you still use this follower but if you have the mod "Honed Metal" https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/61015 a mod that allows blacksmiths and enchanters to do smithing and enchanting for you, you can turn npcs, even custom npc into smiths and enchanters to the skill level you wish.

When I select the Gemma race there is a very noticeable hand seam and it's not the body that I built in bodyslide using the [Gemma Body 3ba] Am I doing something wrong?

check if the meshes you generated with bodyslide are ruly replacing the old ones (check last modified), otherwise they might be somewhere else

Yeah, they're replacing them. no idea why they don't show up in game. It's very weird because the armor updates and works just fine

check the Patreon page, in the comments there's a 3BA patch that should solve some mesh issues, try it and let me know

3BA user here. I've been trying to get this to work so I can put the outfit on a follower, but I can never get Gemma to appear or for the mod to even show up in my item spawner. I'm using both the 3BA file and above mentioned 1.6.640 plugin, but still no luck. The bodyslide files are there and the chair she uses in warmaidens shows up, but never with her. Anyone have an idea what's wrong?
