Tempest321 Posted April 28, 2025 Posted April 28, 2025 With the release of Oblivion Remastered, my interest in Skyrim has come back. For moding the current anniversary update version 1.6.640 from back in 2022, should I downgrade the game to the Special edition or leave it updated? Will most of the Sexlab mods work on the last anniversary update?
深淵の神 Posted April 28, 2025 Posted April 28, 2025 As far as I know, the veteran people I know who made the transition to the latest version of AE continue to enjoy their game, just make sure you use the correct version of your mods for the exact version of your Skyrim. Besides, B.E.E.S already exists, which makes it unnecessary to update if you don't want to unless you want to use the official paid mods or whatever. I also remain on 1.6.640 because I'm lazy and because I don't see the point in following Bethesda's lead anymore, just to make clear, I'm not saying that it's a bad thing to update if you want to.
Tempest321 Posted April 28, 2025 Author Posted April 28, 2025 My installed version of Skyrim SE AE is currently update version 1.6.640 going off the last listed activity. I didn't buy the upgrade to AE.
