How i create a new body without losing my sims? (Bodies and faces changing after Wicked Whims sex)

So. there is a horrible bug that Wicked whims Is resetting bodies and changing faces of sims.  Bodies changed through MCC Command.

I was instructed to create a new body for my sims because the bug only happens to sims created BEFORE the small small business update ( 1.113.291.1020). But how i do this without losing my sims?

is there a way to make a new body and keep older sim stuff ?

Absolutely.  I edit existing sims all the time.

Google 'Sims enable CAS full edit mode' for exact instructions for your platform.

On PC, it's basically

  • Press Ctrl + Shift + C to bring up the cheat console
  • Type 'testingcheats true'

  • Type 'cas.fulleditmode'

Then when you shift-click a character and select 'Edit in CAS', you will be able to fully edit their bodies, not just the outfits.

If a sim is pregnant, you won't be able to modify their body.  That's about the only limitation.

Annoyingly, Sims 4 does not remember the cas.fulleditmode setting, and you have to type it each time before trying to edit a character.

Because of that, I installed MCCC just for the purpose of forcing full edit mode to be Always On.

MCCC settings>notification/console/menu settings> console commands settings> enable full edit CAS

I knew about Editing sims through console. but editing a sim counts as creating a new body for them?

if so , thank you, friend. but is it really that simple? does this counts as the instruction i was provided with (which was to create a new body to prevent the wicked whims bug with MCC command body edit after WW sex) ?

Well, it changes the body shape for sure.  A new preset will move where all the vertices are, and you can pull them around with the sliders to put the Sim back to how you wanted them to be.

You can't take the head off one model, and stick it on a new body.  You can change the shape, which is probably what was suggested.

But, will editing the Sim prevent the bug you are experiencing?  I don't know.  Seems doubtful.

I've never seen a bug like that, and I'm using WickedWhims and MCC both.

But I don't edit the character shape or size using MCC.  I do everything using CAS.

So if using MCC to edit the character shape and size is leading to a bug, I would stop doing that and just use the visual CAS editor.

One thing I do that others do not, is often clone a sim by saving it, then reloading it back into the household and deleting the original one.

Why? Because sometimes the original sim has a glitch like losing their hairstyle when entering the shower.  It just annoys me, so I create a fresh sim to fix the problem.

I mention this because you said "is there a way to make a new body and keep older sim stuff ?"

Yes, you can edit the Sim's body shape and keep their skills, relationships, etc.

When cloning and deleting the old one though, a different Sim is created that has no skills or relationships.

(But all the traits are still there, which is nice.)

But since I'm using MCC and other mods, I can cheat anything.  I can simply add the skills back that I want, and even create the household and other relationships to get the sim essentially back to where they were.

You can play this game however you want.

If you are especially attached to a character and don't want to clone them, ignore the suggestion.

Definitely try editing in CAS, and avoid MCC for visual changes (just my opinion).

Its istill bugging. When doing sex through WW. Like, if i paste a sim face, the face reverses to the original state before being pasted, specially if the ww action is on an object (eg window, bed).

but at least the body changed on mcc is not apparently not reversing anymore. after i updated mcc and ww.  just copied-pasted faces using mcc are changing.

So basically the bug is that copied faces from one sim to another (using MCC) reverse on ww sex.

(i did not test dan485  bug-solving instructions yet though . bug solving through cloning)

Did anyone have the same problem? copied-pasted faces through mcc reversing after ww sex?
