why dose fallout 3 and New Vegas both together in categorys

question if Fallout 3 mod don't work with Fallout New Vegas then why are there not a category for Fallout 3 and a category for Fallout New Vegas why do they have to by both together

They're both made on the same engine and there's a popular mod called Tale of Two Wastelands which combines both games into one supergame, due to this. It also rebalances the game because Fallout: New Vegas is harder and therefore more overpowered in a traditional Fallout 3 environment.

Well, that's good to know. This should be made more known. or at least put on the front page of the mod's website. so people don’t say something dumb like I just did. Or maybe it was there and I just missed it.

Plus they're not nearly as popular for modding as Skyrim and Fallout 4 are and the folks who run the site probably didn't think they warranted their own sections. Look how few posts there are for them.
