animatedtiddy Posted April 15 Posted April 15 Unsure how popular this is/will be but fyi to any one interested its similar to gf2 with metadata issues breaking bepinex/melonloader, asset bundles can be opened in special asset studio with fake header as your game type. uses xlua which is contained in a file called lua that you can just unzip normally. not sure how to decrypt it but that doesnt really matter BECAUSE these devs are either actually braindead or did us all a solid and they literally shipped the game with the folder that says delete and don't ship. Inside is a folder with all of their original mono assemblies editable in dnspy and a folder with all of their plaintext cpp output. I'm actually kind of at a loss for words and I'm not sure the best way to proceed since this is an unprecedented fuck up but if there's demand I should easily be able to hack together runtime vrm loading or something. I'm not sure if there's a way I can provide this stuff to the mod loaders or if I could maybe force the game to run on mono instead of il2cpp but its a game that will presumably get some updates so probably better to use this plaintext code to setup future proofed function hooks. I could also just recompile their game assembly I think
