help with obse

when ever i try to launch the obse it dosent load at all, i have the lates version of oblivion i really would like to get help on this

Did you install obse correctly? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUI_KUFIwiQ If you are using the steam version you have to launch the game through the oblivion.exe and not obse as they are set up to work together.

yes i did install it correctly and no i am not using steam version

Nobody can help you unless you provide more information.  What are you using to launch obse?  How did you install obse?  Where did you put obse?  What makes you think obse is not running?  How are you launching the game?

IIRC, OBSE21 needs the MS C++ 2012 redistributable or it will silently fail to work.

Nobody can help you unless you provide more information.  What are you using to launch obse?  How did you install obse?  Where did you put obse?  What makes you think obse is not running?  How are you launching the game?

i launc it through the nexus mod manager and i install obse like everyone else put it in the oblivion folder not data and whenever i launch it it gives me the normal small box thingy (dont know what it is called) and then just nothing

Right there is you first problem NMM nexus mod manager should NEVER be used for oblivion you use OBMM oblivion mod manager http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/2097/? also you do not launch it through the manager you launch it through the OBSE/oblivion.exe file.

OBSE should not be installed via any mod managers, also NMM is the least choice of Elder Scrolls series.
Extract the content of obse into Steam\steamapps\common\Oblivion

Activate the steam in game community, run oblivion via steam.

NON-STEAM VERSION OF OBLIVION:

1. Copy obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, obse_loader.exe and the Data folder to your Oblivion directory.  DO NOT INSTALL THE obse_steam_loader.dll

This is usually in your Program Files folder, and should contain files called "Oblivion.exe" and "OblivionLauncher.exe".
3. Run oblivion by running obse_loader.exe from the Oblivion directory.

If you use a desktop shortcut to launch Oblivion normally, just update the shortcut to point to obse_loader.exe instead of oblivion.exe.

 

Where have you installed your Olivion ? Do not use the default installation path !!! See here step 1 http://www.loverslab.com/topic/8893-installation-guide-with-lovers-mbp-and-wyre-with-bashed-patch/ best is not install it in C:

Use D: or E: or any other Hard disk Partition.

http://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/11536/? download tes4edit unzip it run it. When it hits a error in your load order it will stop and read what it says is wrong fix it. Close tes4edit and repeat till it loads up without hitting anymore errors then try starting the game again.
