Permanently gaining rads after visiting the Children of Atom in Far Harbor?

I've been in Far Harbor for a little while now, and the entire time, I've been getting anywhere from <1 Rads to +1 Rads walking through the fog. I just arrived at the Nucleus for the first time, and as soon as the cutscene begins, I start gaining anywhere from +1 to +10 Rads no matter where I stand, even in patches of ground that weren't previously irradiating me. Now I know that Far Harbor is supposed to irradiate you, but this seems like a lot. I can't tell if my game has been bugged this whole time and just fixed itself, or if it's becoming bugged due to this cutscene.
