CAS Question

Is there anyway to create a Sim in CAS that is the product of incest (for example is this something that can be done with MCCC)?  Or is this something that has to be done the old fashioned way?

 

I don't know why but I've started a new save where I'm going through different worlds and updating townies (already done Windenburg and San Myshuno, now thinking I'll start on Oasis Springs), gender swapping many of the female Sims and turning all the males bi or gay. 

 

With the Landgraabs I've decided to go a little Game of Thrones and make the lore in this save file that Johnny Zest isn't a child of Geoffrey and Nancy, but rather Nancy's twin brother (making her maiden name Zest) whom she manipulated and seduced into doing the deed many times resulting in Malcolm being the son she had with Johnny and leading Geoffrey into believing he was the baby daddy.  Johnny, so disgusted by his sisters cruel treatment of himself and her cuckolded husband, cut off all contact with them and moved into a trailer hoping to catch the odd glimpse of his son as he grew up whilst avoiding his sister and trying to build some sort of life of his own.

Lorewise Nancy's maiden name is Landgraab. It's Geoffrey that changed his name when he married her. I'm not criticizing you or anything, it's 100% your game and you can do whatever you want and make up whatever story you want. Just felt the need to point out the existing lore, just in case anyone was curious.

 

 

I'm not sure it'll work, but you can try make Malcom an incest kid by using MCCC's relationships menu. Click a sim, open the MCCC menu and go down to relationships. There you can delete existing relationships, then add replacements.

 

So click Malcom, go to MCC, then Relationships. From there you can make Johnny the father. Keep in mind, it gets kind of messy figuring out which relationships to remove and add and remove again, then replace them. And things might not end up perfect the first time you change things. You might need to temporarily move Johnny into Nancy's house to get it to work. You'll have to alter every sim they're related to, to get it to work right. You MIGHT need to delete all relationships the rest of Malcom's family have with him first, but I'm not sure.

 

I've done similar things in the past, so I know for a fact changing parents works, it can just get annoying sometimes. In my game, I wanted Malcom to be the result of an affair Nancy had with Nick Alto(who I added to the game, myself). So I changed Malcom's father to be Nick instead of Geoffrey. I remember I had to change and delete the relationships a few times over and over to get it to stick right, but I got there in the end.

Interesting, so the Sims is more of a matrilineal culture than ours.

Not particularly, it's just that Nancy is from the Landgraabs. One of the major families in the sims. They basically own everything, or most of everything.
