SOS/Frostfall working fix, maybe

I'm looking for an FF/SOS fix like a lot of ppl.

This guy tweaked Frostfall's armor detection and said it was working for him, http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/982703-sos-schlongs-of-skyrim/page-274&do=findComment&comment=8412790.

The file he uploaded is for FF 2.4a not the current version 2.5.

I edited the .psc for the current version of the file but I haven't used CK before and I can't get the .pex to compile (tried inside CK and using NP++ but the noob in me must be strong tonight).

If someone else is looking for a fix to this who is more familiar with editing scripts maybe its worth a try.

Has using the DLC patches worked for anyone like this guy said they did? http://www.loverslab.com/topic/23944-sos-schlongs-of-skyrim/page-10?do=findComment&comment=623799

Well that guy is me. As for the DLC patches, I have them installed and for some reason some armours are detectable by FF and others are not...

Its not perfect but to be honest I don't even use half the armours in the game. For me, the Skyrim Vanilla + DLC armours which do work with FF are Skaal, Solstheim, Royal Vampire, Stormcloak cuirass, Steel plate and 2 of the Fur variants. The rest seem to work 'normally'; as in SOS will relocate the slot, rendering FF blind to the armour. This works out for me since I use fur and skaal almost 90% of the time.

In regards to the patch script (http://forums.nexusmods.com/index.php?/topic/982703-sos-schlongs-of-skyrim/page-274&do=findComment&comment=8412790), I tried this but it did not work at all. No armours were detected by FF so I just reverted to the stock script.

EDIT: I am using FF 2.5, not 2.4a though.... So maybe that's why the script didn't work for me.

The filesize changed between versions so I wouldn't trust it with 2.5.

I just searched for "fur" under clothing and armors on the nexus and that stuff is better looking than vanilla anyway and is recognized by FF.
