trouble with sex animations not starting

is there a shortlist of known causes of why sex animations do not start?

 

the symptoms are the following:

 

the first animation will start, but not any other.

 

I use radiant prostitution, first client is ok, then the next client offers the correct dialogue options, but when selected, nothing happens.

 

same for Sanguine's Debauchery dance, when I find someone who agrees, nothing happens, no dance.

 

it worked some hours ago, I'm unsure of what caused the problem because I'm constantly updating with new versions and I've got a good number of mods installed.

 

it would be really helpful if the problem with animation not starting had some known causes, where I could begin to search for solutions.

start with any mods you downloaded right before the problem started

for anyone with the same problem: I uninstalled "radiant prostitution tweaked" and "SD +" and reloaded an earlier save and the problem is gone.
