What the hell did they do with saves ?

Hi guys,

I'm fuckin' stuck. And I don't know how to go on this mess...

I've updated my sims today in 1.113 and nothing worked as expected. All my saves are down. I have 1000+ sims and I don't know how to fix that. The game works perfectly on a new game, without any problem. No Last Exception, nothing.

To be honest, I got the same problem in 1.111 from 1.109, and before I never got at all this kind of problem with my saves. I played these since almost 10 years. It really gets on my nerves when I updated from 1.109 to 1.111 and I stopped to play the game few months.

I passed almost 3 hours today to update everything, hoping the problem with saves was corrected, but I was wrong.

I don't know what to do, all my mods are updated, and the problem is really with saves only I guess. On a new one, no problem, I can switch households and save as much as I want. But if I take one my old saves, with all my characters (every FUCKIN' lot is personnalised) it's just a mess : Saves don't work, it's infite save screen, and If I try to go back on my neighboor to select another household without saving, it's the same, I got an infinite loading screen...

I'm really disapointed, I stopped playin' for few months, expected it was corrected with updates, but it's not. Does anybody have an idea ?

I'll try to load saves one by one from my backups, but it's really a mess... Days and days of gaming lost.

Except going back on 1.109, any one have an idea ?

Hopefully, I kept my mods folder from it... It's not like we have the habbit with these EA's bastard.

Even to save lots with my old save to reboot a new one, it's a real pain, I cannot go back to neighborhood management, it's infinite loading too. I don't know what they done, but EA really sucks on this.

So I open the game, save the lot, and force quit. EA really messed up on this. -_-

Probably a dumb question to ask, but have you deleted your cache? That would be my first testing step.

Then I'd try testing one of those old saves without mods installed (just don't re-save without mods or you'll have to roll back to the save before that when you re-enable them). If the saves work without mods then it's almost certainly a mod issue of some kind. I know you said you're not getting LE's with a new game, but you didn't say if you're getting any with an old save. If you're getting an LE (or, better, a BE) that would likely help determine the specific problem.
