Juffo78 Posted March 30, 2025 Posted March 30, 2025 (edited) Hi guys, I messed up my setup. Some time ago, I had a fine NSFW setup, but wanted to include "Commonwealth slavers". I installed too many requirements without proper testing and the game crashed. I decided to wait for the new script extender. Now, I can load a save. However, I get a message, that many mods don´t work, as MCM would not be installed. In MO2, the mod is installed. Reinstalling it does not help. So, what would you advise? Deleting mods one by one, until I find a configuration, that works, and go on from there? Or would it be better to start all over, again? Kind regards Edited April 1, 2025 by Juffo78
puttputt Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 My best guess is that you have updated one of your mods and it does not match your fallout version anymore. Double check if your MCM is the right version for your fallout. If that's no it, then check Buffout, Address Library or F4SE 1
AnonyGirl Posted March 31, 2025 Posted March 31, 2025 Most mods require the pre-next gen version of the game, 1.163. Its very important that you try and keep that in mind while modding. I say this, because I'm assuming that's the issue you're running into at the moment. Depending on how far you got with the modding, you may need to restart entirely and downgrade. 1
Juffo78 Posted April 1, 2025 Author Posted April 1, 2025 Yeah- that was the point. I downloaded the beta of the next gen MCM and it worked just fine (others don´t- there is much to do)! Thank you so much guys. I will think about downgrading, or walking form here.
