Sims can't eat. Help! Thanks

Hi! I'm having a very strange bug. On a lot, the Sims living there don't eat, or the "cook" action is canceled, or they prepare food but are unable to eat it. Could it be due to some CC I have only on this lot? I hope you can help me, thanks!

Just as a possibility:

I had houses that I downloaded from the EA gallery, where the kitchen didn't work for various reason.

The people might start to make a meal by mixing ingredients on a counter, then they would just leave it.

Or maybe they wouldn't go to the refrigerator at all.

Watching closely, I might see the people have that little walking symbol with an 'x' on it, trying to tell me they couldn't get to the location.

There were obstructions in the house.

In one example, there was some sort of light hanging over the oven and my people couldn't get to it.  In another, I think the refrigerator door couldn't open because a cabinet was in the way.  Maybe it overlapped a bit.

You can go to build mode, and move around or replace some of those objects and see if your sims can get to all the appliances.

In addition to what Dan said, I've even had EA wall cabinets (the kind you put on the wall above the floor ones) cause routing failures, as well as the various hanging pots and pans decorations, so if you have any of those in this particular kitchen, I'd remove them and see if it helps.

I've already tried the options you suggested... But it doesn't fix it.

It's really strange because if they try to cook, they take the food and it automatically appears on the floor.

Sometimes you tell them to cook or eat, and it doesn't even appear on the to-do list, and the Sims act similarly to when you "reset" a Sim, the action of automatically extending their arms...

It's a bug, not an obstruction. But I can't figure out what it is.

It's also curious that the "Move" action on the phone does the same thing. And it only happens on that lot... It's all very strange ;(

Thanks for the help

This has been happening to me too since the last patch. They also refuse to set cups down sometimes. My workaround has been to go to manage worlds and then load back in. I’ve tested without mods so I don’t think it’s a cc issue

A mí también me ha pasado desde el último parche. A veces se niegan a colocar las copas. Mi solución ha sido ir a gestionar mundos y volver a cargar. He hecho pruebas sin mods, así que no creo que sea un problema de control de masas.

I haven't updated the game for years... so that unmaintained mods wouldn't stop working.

I've also tried removing the family, deleting the lot, restoring it from the gallery or from build mode, and the bug still persists.

On the other hand, the "effects"

- only happen within that lot. On other lots, these same Sims perform the eating or drinking activity normally.

- that "animation" they make of extending and sticking their arms to their bodies, like when you reset them.

- the order doesn't appear or is directly removed from the action list. If they follow the order or they do it because they're hungry, they leave the portion of food on the ground and grab another, and another, and another.

I think it must be some kind of CC installed that I've installed on that lot. But I've tried the "Tray..." program and it doesn't detect anything unusual in that building.
