Manually Progressing Stage Resets Freecam

I should clarify I'm not 100% sure this is a sexlab problem. If it's a feature not a bug then I'll feel stupid, but I'm pretty certain that I remember this not occurring until recently.

 

Essentially, whenever I progress the stage of animation with the space bar, the freecam reverts to 3rd person. I've tried turning off auto freecam and using the key, to no avail. If I use the key after it reverts to third person, manually progressing to the next stage reverts again.

 

The mods that may be conflicting are smoothcam (I toggled it off with its hotkey but this didn't help), and true directional movement (no clue what to test for with that.) I also have quite a few sexlab mods, but the only two that would affect an actual scene (i think) are zaz and sexlab tools (patched).

 

I"m pretty sure I wasn't having this problem awhile ago, but I have only installed follower mods since that point, so I assume its either a sexlab bug, or possibly an incompatibility with smoothcam/tdm. Or I'm an idiot and it's always worked this way.

 

Researching this problem led to a couple posts from years ago but all seemed related to mods I don't have installed and none were resolved.
