Best version of Skyrim SE or AE for NSFW mods?

I just want to know what the best version of Skyrim to get is if I want to play with NSFW mods.  Mainly Devious Devices related mods.

1.6.1170 or 1.6.1179 if you're on GOG, latest AE in other words. Only reason to stick to an older version is if you already have a modded setup. Remember to protect your install from forced updates, otherwise you'll be back here in 6 months complaining about mods breaking on you.
