Mod list with some version numbers:

(Most recent skyrim version, 1.6.1.1.7 iirc.)

Where it starts to get esoteric and personal. The mess of characters at the bottom is supposed to be ABC.

Plugins (Not including ABC, as I do not know how to access FOMOD):

Don't pay attention to how this is a quote instead of a spoiler.

When attempting to install MNC and ABC, horses and wolves end up with no model (rendering them invisible, and possibly despawning the intro horses). Billyy's SLAL Animation Pack is not detected by SLAL. ABC is proving difficult to install as I have not found a way to install via FOMOD.

Additionally, Creature Framework 3.0 as well as the rest of the mods mentioned in the text portion of the guide and Frisky Mudcrabs have had their ESPs/ESMs set to "optional" in MO2, with further investigation revealing that they are declared to be unloadable by the game.

Creature framework 1.0.1 seems to work, but registers no creatures; it likely requires MNC and/or Billyy's SLAL Animation Pack.

If the images do not load due to an issue on my end, I can attempt to re-send them.

Upon further investigation, it appears that the ESPs/ESMs are loadable by the game and the reason that MO2 did not say they were such is due to their positioning in the optional ESP bank. The presence of an optional ESP/ESM bank is still concerning. -- specifically ones which contain all of the mod's plugins.

I suggest you try to get one thing working before seemingly installing 10 things, all of which are somehow broken in every way imaginable.

Make sure these files exist:

meshes\MoreNastyCritters\horse\addon_horse.nif

meshes\Actors\Horse\Character Assets\Horse.nif

meshes\MoreNastyCritters\canine\wolf.nif

Inspect the following records:

 [00] Skyrim.esm (7CAB85A9) \ Armor \ 00060715 <SkinHorse>

 [00] Skyrim.esm (7CAB85A9) \ Armor Addon \ 00036EA7 <NakedHorseAA>

 [08] MoreNastyCritters.esp (DCDF5B35) \ Armor Addon \ 0800AAA2 <NakedHorseAASoft>

 [00] Skyrim.esm (7CAB85A9) \ Armor \ 0004E886 <SkinWolf>

 [00] Skyrim.esm (7CAB85A9) \ Armor Addon \ 0004E885 <NakedWolfAA>

Inspect the files in creatures.d\. Find the entries for horses and wolves, and inspect their various armor items. Make sure the meshes exist.

Make sure all meshes are provided by the correct mods, and that all records are modified by the correct mods. Resolve record conflicts if there are any relevant ones.

Make sure the following files exist in SLAnims\json:

Billyy_CreatureBeasts.json
Billyy_CreatureConstructs.json
Billyy_CreatureFurniture.json
Billyy_CreatureHumanoids.json
Billyy_CreatureHumanoidsLarge.json
Billyy_CreatureInsects.json
Billyy_CreatureMisc.json
Billyy_Human.json
Billyy_HumanFurniture.json
Billyy_HumanLesbian.json
Billyy_HumanOrgy.json

If they do, inspect the Papyrus log from a session where you opened SLAL's MCM and tried to find Billyy's animations..

Version 2.22 of ABC has an FOMOD installer. Seems unlikely it would have been removed. Open the mod archive, and check for the fomod folder. If it exists, the issue is in MO2 - start by making sure the fomod installer plugin is available.

I have never encountered a mod where plugins have been set to optional by default. Optional plugins are placed in the "optional" directory. Use the MO2 GUI to enable them, or manually move the files out of the optional directory.

What led you to this conclusion?

MO2 said they couldn't be loaded? So basically what you're saying is you saw the missing masters warning, and assumed they couldn't be loaded. Loading and something being completely missing are 2 entirely diffenret things.

Not really, it's a handy feature for mods that come in many different variants. Weather mod patches comes to mind as being one of those. I use it for my modified version of Remodeled Armor, allowing me to instantly switch between replacer and standalone (or both) armors.

Not all mods require plugins. As the name suggests, maybe these files are optional.

The issue appears to have been resolved. It appears to have been an issue with installation; instead of placing the zip files into the downloads directory, they had been unzipped by hand and placed into the mods directory. After properly installing each mod, I do not seem to have this issue any longer.
