[XCL] [0.23.6] InstaGirl Laboratory

What it is: 

This mod add a new place in Summer City Mall: InstaGirl Laboratory.

This new lab offers the opportunity to earn money by participating in a few pill trials. You can also get treatment for all side effects from X-Change pills. You can change your masculinity if you have enough money.

This mod contains different introduction, audio for npc voices and ambience. 

 

This mod contains:

 

● A new Asian Secretary - Shino Aoi 

 

● A sexy Nurse with treatment for side effects, recover Masculinity or gain Feminity.

-> Dynamic traitment for side effect.

 

●In collaboration with Coolpersontg a new Doctor Angela White comes in the laboratory.

She proposes a premium exam (male only) for 150$:

-> Dynamic treatment for side effect

-> Different media for White and Black Character

-> Secret Scene

 

● A New Pill Trial with Chastity Lynn in Clone Pill and sadic Doctor Isi Love. 

This pill trial have multiples scenes and 1 secret scene.

 

 

Currently no bugs or issues have been found.

 

 

How To Use:

Just add "IG_Laboratory_0.4.0.xcl" with the mod loader and you should be golden.

 

Mod Compatibility:

This mod is fully compatible with all other mods including all player character and mods with new side effects.

 

I also recommend installing 

● Shoplifting by irene7.garper

-> The Kleptomaniac side effect can be cured in the lab if you have enough money (specific scene)

● Alcohol Additions by CrazyMoose 

-> The Alcohol Addiction side effect can be cure in the lab if you have enough money (specific scene)

Woo! Looks amazing.

 

I'm having trouble loading it though. This is the error I get: 

 

"Does not support base game version 0.21.7 (requires 0.21.7.2) though I'm sure I have the latest version.

I see what do you talk. 

I do a new version right now: 0.1.4 for fix that problem, it is just a minor error in my code.

I like it, but the text switches between 1st and 2nd person all the time, (outside of dialogue, it's usually 2nd person in the game) which is a bit irritating.

I liked the idea of having a way to cure side effects for some play-throughs by using money and not essence.

 

Edited with some additional impressions:

 

- the intensity of the Pill Trial content ramps up from zero to 100 very quickly 

A more gradual experience could be achieved by limiting which scenes are available on the first visit and which happen on repeated visits.

 

- The Pill Trial does not seem to offer much branching

Not many options to change the course of action or escape.

 

- the monetary impact of the trial is huge

If the player can participate in the trial daily this earns much more money compared to other jobs over the course of a week.

Introducing a limitation of one pill trial per week could prevent extreme monetary gains.

What seems to be missing from a gameplay point of view:

- a specific challenge that the Pill Trial provides

- a fair chance for the player to get through the trial relatively unharmed

 

Nevertheless, from a story point of view it may be intended to put the player into a situation where they do not have much control...

Different players may have different preferences...

Came across a bug if you try to back out of taking a basic during the cure. You're got a typo in the "go shopping" passage. It's supposed to be "Go shopping" (Capital G) to head back to the mall.

 

Also as a possible feature request, could the experiments increase the sex stats?

Curing effects doesn't work for me. According to STATS screen at home I have several side long-term effects (from playing as a secretary), among them "people pleaser" and yet, when I choose "What side effect would you like Nurse Chiara to treat you for? " I don't get any options to heal, the only button is "nevermind"

It is very weird, you are the only one with this issue. Maybe a conflic with another mod, do you try to reload a mod or start new game ?

Weird, weird, i do multiple playtest and i dont see this issue. I understand your issue, but in my playtest, everything are good. I recheck this

Sorry for false alert, looks like one of the other mods bugged out my game cause even after curing people pleaser with cheats I was still locked on chores. Eventually deleted that save and started from scratch. Sorry again.

Did have an issue. Might just be the one I have but the audio is out of sync with the volume controls. So just 100% for some reason. If no one else has had it then its a conflicting with a different mod.

I try my mod with the other mod and i dont see this issue. It is probably cause by other mod.

I've noticed some issues where the doctor in the anal pill trial is referred to as 'he' in the text, even though it's a woman.

The treatment removes the side effect. There's no additional scene, just an image and some text. Why not add treatment scenes in future updates? Maybe. Otherwise, the secret scene is in the pill trial.

That's strange, everything works fine for me and others. Perhaps there's a conflict with other mods?
