Issues with survivor save

Looking for tips/help on save files and survivor.

I'm running into an issue where a survivor character I'm playing seems to get glichy with video after a save occurs. The game runs fine. Then after a save video gets choppy. Concerned about hardware issues, I already ran diagnostics on hardware and that checked out fine.

My next question is, should I be worried about file corruption and is there anything that can be done to fix existing file(s)? Or do I have to revert back to a certain point in time and look for a last good save?

I've been playing the game since it came out and have never encountered this.

Playing on GOTY on PC and purchased through Xbox Gamepass.
