Tompa987 Posted March 8, 2025 Posted March 8, 2025 Hello, I want to create a patch or "fix" for two mods that I use. These are Dragon Priest DragonBorn Circlets Aetherial Crown SE and Reliquary of Myth - Artifacts of Skyrim. What I want to do is make it so that the changes to the masks from RoM (the enhanced effects/enchantments) are applied to the circlets in the other mod (the "Circlets"-mod). I've tried to fix this in SSEEdit but it seems as if I can't choose to set the item effect called "EITM - Object Effect" to the one from RoM. At least I assume that that is the way to do it (?). Also, the changes to the masks in RoM are stored in a separate/extra .esp (RoM - Dragon Priest Masks Pack.esp). I can't set this one to "Master" in SSEEdit, I can only choose RoM as master for the circlets mod. Does this make any sense? 😅 I figured that this SHOULD be a simple thing to do but I've never done anything like this. I'm willing to check videos and/or read tutorials but it just seems like it should be a simple thing to do so ... perhaps I'm just dumb? Any advice of how to do this or where to start looking? Thanks in advance.

Tompa987 Posted March 8, 2025 Author Posted March 8, 2025 Thank you for your reply. After some thinking, I suspected that something like that could be needed. So I moved some plugins around, edited some stuff in SSEEdit aaaand ... some circlets and masks have no effect at all. Some masks have the circlet effect and vice versa. After that, I put the original files back but everything was still messed up. I ended up reinstalling the mods and ... everything is still f**ked. Sometimes, I hate modding Skyrim. It can be such a source of frustration. Anyway, thank you for trying to help, it's much appreciated. I guess I'll try reinstalling the mods again when I've calmed down a bit.
