ijugo Posted March 2, 2025 Posted March 2, 2025 This one has me mystified. I'm playing S4MP with my partner. We use WickedWhims. We don't use MCCC, or really any other core mods (just FlirtyFetishes and, much more recently, Sensual Studio). I'll admit that I'm new to all of this; I hadn't screwed around with modding The Sims at all until a couple of weeks ago. We disabled the Menstrual Cycle from day one, and switched everything to Simple Pregnancy Settings. My partner's Sim has been manually toggled to infertile, as we don't want to deal with adding other Sims to the household right now. I initially set the NPC Fertility to 10%, Player Fertility to 0%, as I'd misunderstood how it works. Obviously, with these settings, as my Sim was banging his way around town, no pregnancies were resulting. I later realized my mistake, set NPC and Player Fertility to 10% (I think with an additional 3.5 fertility cheat modifier to my Sim under the Tuner), and voila, the Sims he's boffing started showing up pregnant. So far so good. Six offspring NPC Sims were born as a result. But then it all suddenly stopped. I honestly can't remember if it was before or after we picked up WickedWhims patch 184a, as we did on Feb 26, but I think it was right after. Whatever I do, though, I can't seem to get my Sim to impregnate any other Sims. I feel like I've tried everything. I've tried his fertility modifier at increasingly high values, even cranking it all the way up to 100.0 (1000% odds of impregnation), and still can't seem to get another one past the goalie. I've even done some testing on that save file in singleplayer, not using S4MP, to no success. The "So-and-So might now be pregnant" notification still pops up every time you'd expect it to... but the results always seem the same: no pregnancies. NPCs still seem to be getting pregnant on their own. Is there something I'm missing? I'm just unsure of why it would change so suddenly, and apparently without my input, unless there's something that might have affected it in switching to 184a. Updating to 184b today didn't seem to help. We could try reverting the patch, I suppose, but I feel a little cautious about that. We'd really prefer not to try using the Menstrual Cycle feature, as that's something my partner would rather her Sim not have to deal with. Any thoughts or suggestions would be immensely appreciated.
