lyfdsba Posted March 1, 2025 Posted March 1, 2025 Recently, I've been studying how to modify the Sims' character customization interface, but I've encountered some issues. Chat-GPT suggested that I need to install the Sims4CommunityLib mod to generate UI.pyo, and then decompile UI.pyo through Sims4CommunityLib to achieve my goal of modifying the CAS (Create A Sim) interface UI. However, I can't find the specific tool or guidance for this; I've only found Sims4CommunityLib itself, and after consulting its documentation, I couldn't find any content related to UI. I'm seeking assistance from experts in this field on how to utilize Sims4CommunityLib. My original intention is to develop a mod that can categorize player-made MOD clothing in the game's CAS (Create A Sim) customization interface. I noticed that with a large number of clothing items installed, it's difficult to quickly find the ones I need using the game's built-in categorization function. Therefore, I want to customize clothing categories to save time.

If they lack the tag, they can't be shown in the category. The only solution is for the creator to tag things correctly or for users to manually check and, where necessary, re-tag all CC they download using a tool like S4S (which is what I do).
