What makes the skin turn black?

This doesn't give enough info for troubleshooting.

Is all of your Sims' skin black or is it only in some areas? Is it for every Sim or only one or a few? Are you using custom skintones? What body parts do you have installed? (replacements for breasts, vaginas, penises, etc.)

Usually it's caused by outdated CC. I know there's also some issue with penises being partially black sometimes because they occupy "overflow space" where there's no skintone in the default Sims' skins – I don't know the technical details or anything, but I know Simdulgence has a fix for that, which I use.
