Slot 52

What mod adds slot 52 to clothing tops and how do I stop this from happening?

Not enough information.  Male of female?  Provide an example or explanation if you want meaningful assistance.

 

Slot 52 is MOD_PELVIS_SECONDARY so it is often used for belts, corsets, skirts and underwear on female outfits.  Modders are not consistent.  For males it is used for SOS's malegenitals.  Without more information from YOU I'm not sure I can help.

Sorry about that. I have an outfit that has the top in slot 32 and the skirt is in slot 52. The npc I gave it to, (female), wore all of the pieces for quite a while then suddenly the top started showing that it occupied both slots 32 and 52. This continued over multiple sessions and I've been looking for a solution for this issue. Ok, this is strange, I just fired the game up again and the problem seems to have corrected itself. The top is now showing only slot 32 and the npc wears the whole outfit. I'm not sure what happened there but it's no longer a problem. Thanks for trying to help with this.

Do you use SOS? Sounds like the slot bug from there. SOS MCM clean all schlongified armor.

I do use SOS and thought that might be the culprit but the problem went away without using the clean option. Is there a way to stop this bug from occurring in the first place? This is not the first time this has happened and using the clean option failed to fix it then.

Yeah there is, I don't remember where... do a type search...slot bug SOS fix, that is what i remember looking at.

If you find the fix... be sure to come back here, post a description with links as to how you fixed it, this will help others who may experience the same bug.

Game version info such as... Skyrim SE 1.5.97  which is what I use.
