kraoro Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 I have frequent, but seemingly random and non-repeatable crashes, most of the time pointing to some kind of shader. The mesh is always different, the location is always different, and the last action I do when I crash is always different. Sometimes it's trying to open the inventory, sometimes trying to open the map, sometimes trying to save, and this last time, trying to talk to an NPC. The crashlogs point to meshes, but the meshes aren't corrupt, because as I said, the crashes are random and non-repeatable, and a corrupted mesh would crash the game any time it was encountered. The most recent crash log was in Stendarr's beacon, a location I was at just fine about an hour before. I've posted the last three crashlogs related to shaders, but I have a lot of them. crash-2025-02-26-00-08-56.log crash-2025-02-26-06-26-12.log crash-2025-02-27-01-47-58.log
traison Posted February 27, 2025 Posted February 27, 2025 These are all different issues, but indeed seem to all indicate the game is having issues rendering meshes. Considering you're running a shader overhaul (CommunityShaders) the first thing I'd do is disable it. If the problem goes away, I'd try the following: A different version of CS. Newer or older, doesn't matter. Enabling CS again but disabling the Lighting and Utility shaders.
