Game crashing after around 5 mins of play

I downloaded sims 4 for the first time today in probably over a year and also for the first time ever on steam. I downloaded some mods and noticed my game kept crashing. I've now only got WW installed along with some animations packs + the cc for those packs and my game still crashes. I have no idea whats causing this does anyone have any ideas?

Have you tried running it without any mods at all? Since you say it's your first time downloading it in a long time, and first time through Steam, it's possible there's an issue with the game itself running properly, unrelated to mods.

When the game crashes, you should have a lastCrash.txt file generated in your Sims 4 folder (the parent folder to your "Mods" folder). If you have one, feel free to upload it and I can take a look and see if I can figure anything out lol
