limonotu Posted February 21, 2025 Posted February 21, 2025 (edited) I'm running into an issue with Skyrim where debug messages appear on my screen right after I load my save. Here's a screenshot showing the messages, but I can’t figure out which mod is causing them. It's about morphing apparently. "The players genital size was reverted to original to avoid issues." "The player size cannot be modified due to option in MCM." I had ABBA installed, so I tried a clean save without it, but it seems it's not the culprit. I run CBBE 3BA and OBody NG too. Has anyone encountered similar debug messages before? Or does anyone recognize which mod might be responsible? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Here's the complete load order, but it's difficult to see something through it with so many mods. Thanks in advance! Edited February 21, 2025 by limonotu
traison Posted February 21, 2025 Posted February 21, 2025 There's people on these forums that are good with these, but I'm not one of them. My approach would be to use my string search utility that I made specifically for Skyrim. Its available on request, if you want to go with that option. I also have a script for xEdit that can find MESG records, but its not guaranteed to find the ones appearing in the top left corner like these are.

Well, it would be logical to search where that text appears in mods structure, that's right. English isn't my native language, so it's a little difficult for me to understand what you mean with a "String search utility". Also, do you think xEdit could not find those debug text that a mod need to write for the player? I would like to test on of your options, maybe it's the answer I seek.

Utility/program for finding text in all files related to Skyrim. 3 hours ago, limonotu said: Also, do you think xEdit could not find those debug text that a mod need to write for the player? There's multiple places from where text can be made to appear in the top left corner of the screen. xEdit can only find the ones that originate from MESG records. 3 hours ago, limonotu said: I would like to test on of your options, maybe it's the answer I seek. I'll send a link to my tool.
limonotu Posted February 21, 2025 Author Posted February 21, 2025 (edited) I also posted an help ticket on Reddit. Here's the complete load order, but it's difficult to see something through it with so many mods. *Edited the OP to write down the debug messages, if someone search those words one day. EDIT : It was and advanced option in the MCM of The New Gentlemen (T.N.G.), about toggle the change of size. Edited February 21, 2025 by limonotu 1
