Best Balancing? Started with everything on Default but it feels off and weird + Question about attractiveness preferences

I recently got the game downloaded again, used a week to download a ridiculous amount of mods and things and at the end, Wicked Whims, as a replacement and extension for the normal Woohoo, but also, just the whole love life and sex.

I read it's recommended to use it on default settings cause that's supposed to be pretty well balanced already, but I noticed that it's way too easy to have sex with everyone with this mod. i can literally talk to someone for 2 minutes, have the green bar up like 1/4 and the romance bar 1/6 or less and when I click somewhere, choose an animation and invite them they just do it.

I literally walked into the house of a random new household, talked to the girl for these 2 minutes, clicked on the chair in the living room and chose something and they started to have sex, while the roommate is just in the same room. Is that normal? Or is something not quite working? Cause that's another point that rips me out of the immersiveness. I can start this somewhere, like I did in my office with my partner and they were doing it and just a minute later her sister walks in with no reaction and starts playing on the PC. that's odd.

The only time there seems to be any big rejection seems to be when I invite a third person to join, then everyone always declines with several reasons like "Don't like her enough" or "I have a partner". Otherwise it seems a bit off.

That brings me to another topic, are my attractiveness preferences working? I only added this mod after I already had my savegame running. I did add preferences to my main sims and completely forgot about this feature. Then one day I clicked on a female sims and noticed the "Develop X Preferences" and "Choose X Preferences" options where I can either choose stuff or choose an option to base preferences on Randomness or certain other things.

Now is my question, are all the other Sims in my game currently even having any preferences or do I have to set this up manually first? Cause if they don't, that would explain why it is so easy to sleep with basically everyone. Is there any way in how I could check that? And what is the best choice for the Develop option?

And bonus question, should I let the normal Woohoo activated? Cause I noticed this mod, unfortunately, doesn't add things like "first Woohoo" in the relationship tab on the profile.

Would gladly appreciate some help here. :) Hope it fits here, thought it's not really technical support.

Definitely take a look at the sex settings; in fact, I recommend changing all WW settings to your preference. By default I've found Sims often have sex pretty wantonly, e.g. with pretty much anyone and pretty much wherever. Also, personally, I always turn of STDs, creepers, and peeping Sims, plus the Pubic Hair switch since I have CC body hair that includes it.

I don't really have my Sims have sex with NPCs often (I play monogamous couples) so I don't know what specific settings you should look at for this, but I think "Sex Relationship Settings" under the "Sex Settings" header would be a good place to start. There's also a setting in the Cheats menu for Sex Setting that is will make Sims always accept sex; if you haven't changed any of the settings, it shouldn't be on anyway (it's off by default), but it can't hurt double-checking.
