(Graphical Glitch Help Please) Occasional Male textures replaced

So I've been having an issue for some time where male sims will occasional have their entire skin texture replaced with the white and red checkered pattern (pic related). It's hard to say how often this happens but it seems to affect random males only, I'd say about 1 in 20 men have this issue and I've found that if I go into Wicked Whims > Personalize > Pubic Hair > and disable pubic hair it restores the character completely.

 

I have no idea of knowing which mod is causing this but Wild_Guy's dynamic pubic hair would eventually cause ALL males to have this issue. Is there any way to find out which mod is causing this issue or has anyone else had this happen?

To add to the above advice, you can also use Sims Tray Importer for NPC Sims. All you have to do is find an affected one on the household manager, open their household in CAS, and save it to your gallery. The family will appear in the Tray Importer then.

Thank you so much for taking the time to respond @COOLSIMSPLAYER92 and @FutureGhost3888. I don't have much experience with modding the sims so tracking the culprit down was a headache. I tried to go the Sims Tray Importer route and removed some of what it said but it looks like it's just pointing to wicked whims itself? I don't know if that's happening but I think I'm going to start halving my mods, then halfing, and then halfing it to track down wtf is the mod breaking wicked whims.

No problem! I doubt WW itself would cause the problem.

 

One thing you could try, before doing 50/50, is downloading Sims 4 Studio. Once you open it and it reads your game files, you can go to the "Content Management" menu (where "File" and all those options are – I'm on Mac and I don't really remember the Windows interface lol), then go to "Batch Fixes", then "CAS", then hit "Update Skintones". It'll scan your files and update any outdated skintones – I guess Maxis did something a few years that broke some of them? I can't guarantee it'll fix your issue, but it's worth a shot!
