WW sex location reservation setting

Hi,

 

I'm trying to have a sim sit on the edge of the bed while two others are going at it on the very same bed. I understand this should be doable switching the WW sex location reservation setting off. As far as I can tell, the setting is functioning: with it enabled, there is no option to initiate sex on a bed where another sim is sitting, and with the setting disabled, the option is there. That being said, once the setting is switched off and sex on an occupied object is initiated, the sitting sim immediately stands up from the bed and will not be seated again. What am I missing here?

I think that's more about how EA programmed the Sims themselves. See something interesting? Stand up and look at it - "See what's going on".

 

On a few occasions I've had Sims enter a room while sex happens and sit on the bed to watch, but its very rare. Generally I just put a chair in the room facing the bed - that seems to work more often than not. I'd also like to see two couples going at it on a double bed. Don't know if that's possible, though.

That actually seems to be easier than what I was trying to achieve here. Unless you mean you'd like the sims to autonomously initiate this, in which case it's probably not going to happen. With the WW setting, though, you can easily initiate several WW actions on the same item yourself. Depending on the animations, this might then require some repositioning of the couplse using the WW tools.

 

As for my issue, I'm not so sure it's about the sim's interest in what's going on. The sim's reaction gave me more of a feel of a pathing issue or something along those lines, which makes it seem like the object is not available after all, in some sense, despite the setting. If you have the time, try to experiment and see what you come up with. It's of course also possible it's about mod compatibilities etc. Would be interesting to hear other people's experiences with this.

Okay, figured it out. It was reaction based behavior after all, as GMac suscpected. The cheat option to disallow sims from leaving an area where others are having sex resolved this.

That can't be done in the game because the object is already being used by other Sims.
