Questions about designing a simplified immersive playthrough... without elaborate BDSM content

Just a casual post about ideas on a simplified playthrough.

 

How do I do a playthrough with:

1. all the risks of the female player character getting taken advantage of in a rough, violent world...
2. but without like full blown BDSM scenes and ball gags in a medieval setting, just straight up assault and maybe simple bondage (like cuffs).

 

What mods can you recommend (or not recommend) and how to I limit the BDSM stuff?

(For the record I have nothing against BDSM, it's just not my thing.)

 

• So far I have Sexlab Defeat and it works quite well, I've limited the animations using the options it provides in the MCM. (I still need to figure out which animations are better suited for a rough quickie rather than a slooow, drawn-out, sex scene in the middle of bear country... ahem. Any tips? Billy's seem good so far.)
• But what about Prison Overhaul? It has ZAZ animations as a hard dependency, but that's all BDSM from what I remember. Is there any point in downloading the mod if I disable all of the ZAZ animations?
• I checked out Slaves of Tamriel and it seems like it's not leaning heavily on BDSM but just abusive prison guards, correct?
• Many dungeons and brothels recommended by Simple Slavery lean HEAVILY (and I mean heavily) to BDSM with outfits that come straight out of 2024... are there any dungeons that are a bit more... fitting to the medieval time period?
• Dark Arena seems interesting... but it needs a little pimping regarding the lighting. Maybe I'll break out the Creation Kit and pimp it myself.
