Question about Companion that "compatible" with LPK (and another question)

Greetings LPK general forum.

 

I am in need of help with 2 problem which involves companion, and replacing armor texture.

 

First about companion, I recently Installed Vilja, Saerileth, and 2 other CM companion. They works well however, whenever my character is finished having  sex encounter whether if it is a rape or consensual it triggers the companion AI to "go home" or "unfollow me".

 

For example:

I tell my companions to follow me and dressed for combat (which they obey)

Had a sex encounter

Sex encounter finished

Saerileth suddenly equips her dress and walk away, while the 2 other CM companion stops following me (Vilja still follows me)

 

I know I could just summon them, but having to do that after every encounter makes it quite a hassle. (not to mention it breaks immersiveness in some mod like PlayerSlaveEncounter)

 

My questions are:

Is this intended?

If no, how to solve it?

If yes, are there other tested companion mod that fix this behaviour?

And for second problem,It seems that there are no skimpy bandits "worn fur" armor and prison "cloth" mod, so I read somewhere that I can copy "fur cuirass" and "sack cloth" to replace them.

 

If I get this right, I'm supposed to copy the "fur cuirass" files to another folder, then rename them according to "worn fur" files then replace them.

 

My questions are:

Am I getting it right?

Which folder I should copy to which folder? must it include both texture and meshes?

for the 1st question i do not know sorry

 

for the second question you can simply  open your folder oblivion / data / armor / fur     there you found cuirass,grieves and others

those are the file.nif you need to change       - you make a backup by renaming them to 'old cuirass.nif'   'old grieves.nif'  etc...

- than you put inside this folder the armor you want to have instead  and renaming  to to the corresponded one.

 

you do not need to touch the textures if you have them already included and as you do not change their path in the file.nif

Try moving CM companion MODs to later in in you LO. Keep in mind also CM is buggy, although I have not experienced your specific issue.

 

CM_Kailinda.esp should definately be after Lovers MODs, along with needing to clean it of 10 ITMs. Download TES4Edit and read the basic filter/cleaning method.

 

CM_Katzumico does not currently exist in the most recent BOSS master file, so no direct help but I would still run it through TES4Edit.

 

You may also want to consider downloading and learning Wyre Bash basics and generating a Bashed Patch, 0.esp file.

 

To begin Download BOSS and run it, then reorder Lovers MODs per gregathit's recommendations.

kingkong is right on the 2nd question. I have in fact replaced my fur armor with H cup, along with many other vanilla armors. In many cases you can download replacements from Nexus and just study the folder structure before installing.

 

Some vanilla armors and clothes you may not see as it is within the BSA file in your Oblivion/Data folder. You can unpack and replace or simply add new ones using the appropriate folder structure.

For the companion, sadly moving them down the list doesnt change anything (Im yet to download TES4Edit, Is it necessary as in "must do"?)

 

If all else fail, I might need to move to another companion mods.

For the armors, I tinkered around a bit and managed to replace my worn fur armor

Unfortunately however, unlike armors the clothes use numbers so its a bit unclear which folder to replace for prison "cloth" (the one you get when arrested, not the starter cloth)

 

I guess it should be somewhere inside Data/Meshes/Clothes/LowerClass? checking the file content, strangely it only contain shirt.nif instead of 1 set (like boots, cuirass, greaves, helmet, gauntlet) package, Does the lower and upper part separated? and what does f, m before the nif file folder means?

For the companion, sadly moving them down the list doesnt change anything (Im yet to download TES4Edit, Is it necessary as in "must do"?)

 

If all else fail, I might need to move to another companion mods.

No, is not an absolute must. It is used to clean ESP files of dirty edits, ITMs and UDRs. Those can be a cause of issues sometimes. I personally clean all new ESPs I introduce to my setup.

 

Yes, you may need to move to other CM MODs. It always was a bit unstable. You could also do a Google search on that CM MOD and see if other players had issues and workarounds. I reviewed quite a few years ago and ended up deleting most of them due to bugs or incomplete/poor CM implementations.

 

The prison clothes you will not see as the 'vanilla' one is contained in the BSA archive.  Any replacement you decide on  should be placed here as shirt.nif and pants.nif. Easier to download a replacement and review the folder structure, but the below graphic should help get you started in the right direction. F and M stand for Female and Male respectively. Not all armor/cloth models have both; some are unisex.

You may also need to run OBMM and Utilities, Archive invalidatation, BSA redirection. That will point Oblivion to the file in the folder instead of accessing the one contained in the Oblivion - Meshes.bsa file.
